Wednesday Update Time!

- I hit 75k words on The Cosmic Link, Book 2 of The Evaran Chronicles II. Evaran and the gang are at the PeaceKeeper's hidden headquarters on a remote planet. After the excitement of the previous chapters, this give them some time to catch their breath.

- I hit 1k on Dragonrealm, Book 6 of The Inspector Dalton Files. Dalton Kingston, along with Jake Melkins and Dylan Townsend, visit a psychiatric hospital to visit Tom Nicholls, a male teenager that is seeing things. Dylan is just coming off from The Cosmic Link.

- I've started the high-level outline of The Galactic Web, Book 3 of The Evaran Chronicles. This book deals with a galaxy that has a stable space-based rift network and all that it entails.

Sunday Update Time!

- I hit 73k words on The Cosmic Link, Book 2 of The Evaran Chronicles II. The gang is back together and are taking a break before going to the PeaceKeeper's headquarters to get a deep dive into the USF and how it's operating. They'll also get a more detailed account of Antion's historical arrival and impact. The next few scenes will also have the gang relaxing and more of Khromu is unveiled.

I also got the post writing dates lined up!

July 1 - goes to professional editing (Editing Realm)
Aug 5 - goes to professional proofreading (Proofreader Alexa)
Mid August - gets converted to audiobook (Michael Wolfe)

- Today is the first day I begin writing on DragonRealm, Book 6 of The Inspector Dalton Files. I usually write what I call an Evaranverse chapter as the initial one. These tie the book into the greater Evaranverse and tend to involve a character from another series. In this case, it's Dylan Townsend, and this book takes place after The Cosmic Link.

- Rimworlds, Book 3 of the Earthborn, will be converted into an audiobook in about five weeks. It'll be uploaded here once done, and then there will only be two left for the series! I may get those this year, but will definitely get the fourth for sure.

A Short Wednesday Update!

I used this writing cycle to wrap up the low-level outline for Book 6 of The Inspector Dalton Files. I finished it on Sunday night but used Monday to clean it up and tweak it some. I plan to begin writing on it in a reduced cycle next week.

I spent Tuesday catching up on the chronology for The Cosmic Link, Book 2 of The Evaran Chronicles. Sometimes I'll go for a long while before doing this. It did allow me to go over what was written so far and timestamp everything but also clean up any issues I spotted.

Sunday Update Time!

- I hit 70k words on The Cosmic Link, Book 2 of The Evaran Chronicles II. Evaran has retrieved the gang and Khromu, and now they're on their way to get M's body, then they will meet at the PeaceKeeper's headquarters to go over their next step. It's been fun writing some scenes from Ryalis's view since the only cosmic being she has seen was Antion.

- I'm continuing to work on the low-level outline for Book 6 of The Inspector Dalton Files. I'm hoping to be done with it this week, then can begin a reduced writing cycle with it since I'll be manly writing on The Cosmic Link. Once the first draft of the Cosmic Link is done, then I can go to a full cycle with this book.

Wednesday Update Time!

- I hit 67k words on The Cosmic Link, Book 2 of The Evaran Chronicles II. Evaran, M, and Ryalis are on their way to recover the Torvatta, M's body, and the rest of the gang. They've just recovered the Torvatta, and are on to the rest of the gang, but a new issue has arisen they must deal with.

- I've begun the low-level outlining for Book 6 of The Inspector Dalton Files. This is where I convert my high-level outlining in Notepad to Excel and define chapters, scenes, POVs, and locations. I hope to be done with this by next week, which means I can then start on the first draft!

Sunday Update Time!

- I hit 65k words on The Cosmic Link, Book 2 of The Evaran Chronicles II. Dylan, Isaac, Kate, and Khromu deal with their time in a jail, and Azaric makes a punishing visit to them. Evaran and M have concluded their meeting with Ryalis Crownder and are making plans to retrieve the Torvatta, M's body, and the rest of the gang.

- My focus this week is finishing the high-level outline for Book 6 of The Inspector Dalton Files and starting the low-level outline.

- I've been tinkering with the tech stack I plan to use for the update of my website. It's currently static HTML, but I plan to make it data-driven with a knowledgebase added. This is a long-running project, and I'm now at a point were I can begin implementation.

Wednesday Update Time!

- I hit 62k on The Cosmic Link, Book 2 of The Evaran Chronicles II. Evaran and M meet with Ryalis Crownder, a former PeaceKeeper commander who still runs the organization in the shadows. She has been observing events dealing with Evaran and the gang, and in this meeting, she learns more than she ever thought she would. She'll be traveling with Evaran and M for the rest of the book

- After refactoring the high-level outline for Book 6 of The Inspector Dalton Files, I feel it's in a good spot. I'm now filling out the story structure and aligning plot lines. Once done, I'll move to the low-level Excel outline which is matching the story structure to chapters and scenes.
